Hostmonster Sucks!

Ya that’s right, I am definitely done with them. The past week or two has been a horrible experience.
I am so angry at them right now, its not funny.
Arrgh, I’ll see about writing something intelligible tomorrow.

July 24th, 2008 at 5:05 pmI feel the same way. If they were local, I’d drive over and commit a crime. Good think, I guess. They lost power on July 16, and were down much of the day. I started seeing corrupted files on the 21st. They were down all day on the 23rd. I spent the evening of the 23 finding and uploading new copies of my images. System went down again at 1AM on the 24th, and still is not back some 14 hours later. Both mail and web are down. I am only hoping now to get my data back since my last full backup is 2 weeks old.

On the face of it the hosting package offered so much much promise, and a great price too!
I would recomend 1&1 as that is the webhost I’ve had for a little over a year now and have had no problems other then the rare time when a call to technical support took way longer then it should have because of lack of training on their end.
But overall they have very good phone/email support.
